RSD Black Friday – Nov. 26

RSD Black Friday returns!   We’ll be opening at 10am that day with plenty of RSD exclusive releases AND hundreds of new used LPs – including a huge lot of rare collectables! Please note – For a more comfortable RSD Black Friday experience we’ll begin the day by limiting the number of people in the store to prevent overcrowding. Once the initial line has been served we will be open for shopping like normal.

The official list of titles available that day can be found right here.

If you’re new to RSD Black Friday here’s a link to answer all your questions! As always, to comply with the RSD pledge, we are unable to take pre-orders or place any items on hold.

Thank you for your continued support of your local, independent record store!

Open again, bring a mask…

Starting on Monday May 18, we will be reopening with new, temporary hours — 11a-4p Monday-Sunday.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again while prioritizing your health and ours.  To make sure everyone stays safe, we are asking that you make an appointment to shop in-store.  Appointments can be made any time by emailing info@madcitymusic.net or by calling (608) 251-8558 during our new business hours. Same day and walk-up appointments are a-ok, too, assuming there is space available.  We will do our best to accommodate all requests.  And, of course, please no shopping if you’re not feeling well!

While in the store, you will be required to wear a face mask, so please bring your own (we will have some available in case you forget). We will be providing disposable gloves that must be worn while shopping (unless you have your own).  We also ask that, whenever possible, payments be made by credit card.  And, yes, there will be plenty of hand sanitizer available, and we will be keeping up with our regular cleaning protocols!

If you’re still not quite ready for in-store shopping, we will continue to offer curbside pick up
