Record Store Day Is Coming April 16th, 2016!

Mark your calendars for Saturday April 16th, 2016!

The official list of Record Store Day exclusive items can be found right here!  RSD exclusives are made in limited quantities and divided between all participating stores.  We have placed our orders and expect to have most items on hand (although, to stay in compliance with RSD rules, we can’t take any pre-orders or reserve items for you).

We’ll be opening at 8am!  No waiting outside once the doors are open!

Record Store Day – Black Friday Edition – 11.27.15

On Black Friday, November 27th, independent music stores across the country, including MadCity Music Exchange, will be offering an alternative to the long lines and gaudy promotions that have become the custom that day.  We’ll be offering exclusive, made-for-that-day products for the real music fan.  The final list of available items can be found right here!

In addition to offering the exclusive Black Friday releases, we also will be holding our semi-annual Collectible Vinyl Sale!  All of the rare gems we’ve been keeping under lock and key will be available for your shopping enjoyment.

To give you more time to shop the Black Friday releases and collectible vinyl, we will be opening early at 9 a.m.

Record Store Day 2014!

Thank you for making Record Store Day 2014 our most fun and successful
yet!  It was great seeing so many familiar and new faces.  If there
are any limited edition Record Store Day releases you’re still looking
for, please stop by or call the store.  We still have a few items in
stock.

The bands who played our RSD party, Building On Buildings and Dharma
Dogs, were fantastic!  Make sure to catch them next time they play in
town.  Also, thanks to the local arts website/podcast Arts Extract for
setting up all the great live music!  They are your best source for
everything that is happening in town!  And, thanks to Bandung for
being such great neighbors, hosting our bands and celebrating with us.
